I found him endlessly funny. I loved the fact that a man of such obvious intellegence & sophistication was also capable of behaving like an 8 year old child. That playfulness in him never went away. For all his dark moods and dark despair that he felt there was this child in him which I found very appealing… and it made me love him. In a way I also responded to his unhappiness because I felt like he was a character that needed to be saved. Sometimes when you come across a very happy & complete person, well, they don’t need anything from you. But any character who needs help, who needs to be saved, I think I respond to.
